Willem Lodewijk & Lodewijk Napoleon
The names of the suites take us back to the rich history of Assen. Governor Willem Lodewijk created the basis in 1600 for Assen as the governing centre with his decision to establish the House of Representatives there. Lodewijk Napolean chose Assen as his summer residence and granted her city rights during a business stay.
